QwikBILL™ (formerly called "CS Service Invoice™") is an ultra simple invoicing / Bidding / Accounts Receivable program. It was design to allow small service firms, contractors, and other independent providers of services, such as consultants, a quick and easy method of keeping track of sales, bids and accounts receivable. No general ledger account numbers and no inventories. Just point and click billing.
("CS Service Invoice™" was a 1994 MacUser Interactive Shareware Award finalist.)
Inside the "QwikBILL ..." folder will be a number of items:
a. "Files" folder
b. "QwikBILL™..." - This is the invoicing program..
c. "QwikBILL Mailings" - creates shipping or mailing labels from information in the QwikBILL files.
(Since "QwikBILL™..." and "QwikBILL Mailings" use the same set of files, only one of them may be running at a time. Quit QwikBILL before starting QwikBILL Mailings.)
*** Caution do not move or rename the "Files" folder or anything that is in it. ***
To use your own custom letterhead create it first in a "Draw" program that can save as "PICT" files. When you are happy with your drawing just select it, copy it to the clipboard, open "QwikBILL", and Paste it into the Invoice and/or Statement box on the PICT letterhead window. If these boxes are empty and you have selected the "Use PICT letterhead" button in the Company Info window then no letterhead will be printed. Do this in case you have preprinted letterhead paper that you want to use for your invoices and/or statements.
To create your own custom shipping labels create it first in a "Draw" program that can save as "PICT" files. When you are happy with your drawing just select it, copy it to the clipboard, open "QwikBILL Mailings", and Paste it into the PICT Shipping Label window. Note that "QwikBILL Mailings" can contain an entire database of different shipping labels and will use whichever one you have selected.
All of the information that is in the sample files can be deleted or overwritten to set up your own company.
